Know your Season

It’s been a long time since I have written a blog but I learnt a lot during this phase. I believe that everything in our life happens for a reason and it unfolds at the right time.  For last two weeks, I was focused on doing professional certifications and made sure that my time  wasn’t wasted & my thoughts didn’t waiver but rather kept working on it to make sure that I get it. By God’s grace, I completed as well as earned the certification for what I worked for. But I learned an important lesson, every of one of us have been given a task or purpose that we need to work on and everything has a season.

In my profession, for me to become an Expert it takes time as well as we need to take one step at a time and be good in it. One of my uncle, was the chancellor in a college and during his period he made significant changes that helped the students to excel in their studies as well as took the college to the next well.  He was able to do it based on the experience he had, situations that he encountered and responsibilities that he was taking care of. But, he didn’t become a chancellor in a day, it took several years, he did his Master’s in his respective field, then became a researcher ,went on to be a Professor, later the Head of the Department & Board of directors, and finally became the Chancellor . I am proud of my uncle, at the same time he used to be a perfect example in living a fruitful life and a God-Fearing person.

During these days, I remembered him as well as understood that to reach our End Goal, we need to take on different seasons in our life with the boldness and promises that Christ has promised us. Every one of us hold onto promises that God would have given us in each stage of life and one thing for sure is that until all his promises are fulfilled in our life, we would be still on planet Earth living a life pleasing to him.  Also, we should know the season in which we are living and do the part given to us in the best possible way.

As a college student, I had the responsibility to study well and earn good grades.  Then, when I got my first job, my responsibility was to do my Job well and do it right. It doesn’t end there but rather work on your skill so that one day you would be a leader and help others in whatever ways possible. Also, taking care of our family and building them by keeping Christ as the cornerstone is far more important. We can be a good Boss in our organisation but if we don’t look after our family, everything that we have earned is a waste. Gift can’t be a replacement for you when you seemed to be missing in the family. It may be too much to handle, but it can all be handled when we have complete peace within ourselves by spending time with our Heavenly Father and reading his word that speaks life. Because, he alone can give us the peace that the world can’t give as well as the wisdom that surpasses all understanding.

Take time for yourself, know your season and spend time with God to know what you need to do. You may be playing sports, involved in entertainment business, etc whatever field you are in, know your season, may be your success is just few steps away. Don’t give up on the promises that God gave you or on the talent that he has provided to you, it has its own season to be fulfilled and  when it comes true, it will show to his people that  He Lives and nothing is impossible for him. All you need to do, is to keep giving your best till then and wait for him to do the rest.

Where’s my Focus?

I would like to share a message that I got from one of my well wisher and I felt that I needed to share it you all.

Am not sure where did they get this from but credit goes to our Saviour who had put this thought to his child.

Very Good Message From GOD

A lady went to the Priest and said… I won’t be attending Church anymore..

He said, may I ask why??
She said, I see people on their cell phones during service, some are gossiping, some just ain’t living right, they are all just hypocrites…

The Priest got silent, and he said, OK… But can I ask you to do something for me before you make your final decision?
She said, what’s that?

He said, take a glass of water and walk around the Church 2 times and don’t let any water fall out the glass.

She said, yes I can do that. She came back and said it’s done.

He asked her 3 questions.

1. Did you see anybody on their phone?
2. Did you see anybody gossiping?
3. Was anybody living wrong?

See, I didn’t see anything because I was too focused on this glass, so the water wouldn’t fall.
He told her, when you come to Church , you should be just that focused on God , so that YOU don’t fall.

THAT’S WHY JESUS SAID “FOLLOW ME,”.

He did not say follow Christians.

The message says it all, God has given us a life to portray him and to live an exemplary life. In order to get a great Job in one of the prestigious company, you need the skill as well as need to be focused on the technology that are you working on. I am working on Networking technology and everyday I learn new things as well as I can see that I have a long way to be a perfectionist in this Job.

After coming from vacation, It takes time to get into the networking skin and to work the way before I went for vacation.

I believe that God has to be the center in all parts of our life right from our Personal Life, Job, Family, relationship etc. We fail many a times at any part of our life, so we are in a process of moulding as well re-tuning from the Saviour himself.

Everyday, I am working on my character, skills etc but with God not helping me in my life everything is a waste.

It’s way better to put God’s word in action in real life. Many a times, remaining silent does prove a lot rather talking stuff that doesn’t mean anything.

Even talking about God to someone needs a perfect time and it’s Great to reflect HIM in many a times rather talking about him.
