Where’s my Focus?

I would like to share a message that I got from one of my well wisher and I felt that I needed to share it you all.

Am not sure where did they get this from but credit goes to our Saviour who had put this thought to his child.

Very Good Message From GOD

A lady went to the Priest and said… I won’t be attending Church anymore..

He said, may I ask why??
She said, I see people on their cell phones during service, some are gossiping, some just ain’t living right, they are all just hypocrites…

The Priest got silent, and he said, OK… But can I ask you to do something for me before you make your final decision?
She said, what’s that?

He said, take a glass of water and walk around the Church 2 times and don’t let any water fall out the glass.

She said, yes I can do that. She came back and said it’s done.

He asked her 3 questions.

1. Did you see anybody on their phone?
2. Did you see anybody gossiping?
3. Was anybody living wrong?

See, I didn’t see anything because I was too focused on this glass, so the water wouldn’t fall.
He told her, when you come to Church , you should be just that focused on God , so that YOU don’t fall.

THAT’S WHY JESUS SAID “FOLLOW ME,”.

He did not say follow Christians.

The message says it all, God has given us a life to portray him and to live an exemplary life. In order to get a great Job in one of the prestigious company, you need the skill as well as need to be focused on the technology that are you working on. I am working on Networking technology and everyday I learn new things as well as I can see that I have a long way to be a perfectionist in this Job.

After coming from vacation, It takes time to get into the networking skin and to work the way before I went for vacation.

I believe that God has to be the center in all parts of our life right from our Personal Life, Job, Family, relationship etc. We fail many a times at any part of our life, so we are in a process of moulding as well re-tuning from the Saviour himself.

Everyday, I am working on my character, skills etc but with God not helping me in my life everything is a waste.

It’s way better to put God’s word in action in real life. Many a times, remaining silent does prove a lot rather talking stuff that doesn’t mean anything.

Even talking about God to someone needs a perfect time and it’s Great to reflect HIM in many a times rather talking about him.

Take Control.

Taking control of things that can be done from our end is so important in Life so that we don’t spend our time in unfruitful stuff rather build on things that would please God. I failed miserably in taking control of my time as well as in knowing which needs attention in my life. I had to fix some deep holes in my life which needed attention because they were taking my whole energy and attention.

  • Taking note of things that drains our Energy and Time is important, so that we don’t spend God’s given time in useless way.
  • Never make quick promises to someone on an emotional stand
  • I started to take note of my projects I was involved and spent my time wisely by allotting time for Each project
  • Stated to spend time with God before hitting bed and made sure that I wasn’t distracted by anything; making sure that I listen to his instruction and where my questions were answered
  • Never made appointments that would disturb my time with God!
  • When I had leisure time, started to read books & work on my career
  • Also, I learnt to be become a good listener to God’s given people in our life who impart their experience with Him.

Jesus as already showed us on how we need to spend our time but it just didn’t get to me. In the scripture, you could see that Jesus used to leave his disciples after a gathering and made time to spend with God the Father by moving to the mountains alone. Also, Jesus spent the time fruitfully as well as made sure that he was always connected with His Heavenly Father. The time given to us is for a purpose and it must be rightly spent; also, you can’t surround yourself with things that would distract you when you have your personal time with God.

You need to take the first step, so that God can guide you further.

“The Holy Spirit inside you is so pure and so passionate in what you do, so start working with Him”.

Make him glad by spending your time wisely and grow your Faith in God in an unmeasurable way.

Don’t Wait, Start Doing!!

Myself & Many of us have always been hesitant or on the back-foot when it comes to serving God in one way or the other or following the vision that God wants us to go for.  I encountered God during my college days and knew from that very moment, my life’s purpose was to serve God in all possible ways. But, I have been through situations where I was hesitant sometimes; when I had a chance to serve God because I thought for myself whether I wasn’t qualified or was worthy of it. I had to keep fighting with this thought which was a stumbling block for many days.

Finally, I took a decision that am going to start serving God in all possible way, no matter what am battling within myself. I kept telling myself that God is with me, within me and he would be happy to see me doing things for him. This is what I did

  • Whenever I got time, I started to invest on reading my bible or listening to worship albums and sermons.
  • Spent my weekends attending church, catching up with my church team and being part of the youth team.
  • I made sure that that my mind was occupied with things that I need to do for God in that week and kept moving one day at a time
  • I kept thinking what can be done New at church for making the Sunday service more enjoyable & create an amazing experience.

I understood that when I started to take the first step in involving myself in building his kingdom, I felt that God’s presence in my life was stronger than ever before & there was a constant push that made me go for it. God doesn’t look at us the way people do, HE designed you for a purpose and HE alone can make you walk through the very END.

Start serving God in any possible way you can, when you do, you will learn a lot about HIM and can see God’s Hand leading you all the way. It’s not an exam that you need to GET prepared, it’s about walking with the LORD in every day of your life. And, it starts right from the moment you gave your life to HIM.

Knowing your Heavenly Father

I kept looking into my notepad after typing the title and just can’t resist to keep thinking of all the good things that God has done throughout my life. Knowing your Heavenly Father will make a lot of difference when you are battling with Fear, doubts, Life and it goes on. His Love is unconditional in all the ways and it can’t be described in words.

We have heard of the Prodigal son story a couple of times (Luke 15:11-32) in our life. Many a times, when I have gone away from God in a position where the Enemy tried to build on the guilty feeling that I had within myself and how imperfect I was, that I would never be accepted again by God. It beat to me a level, that I had to come to conclusion that it’s better to live the way I was living rather turning back to the One who loved me and created me in HIS very own image.

God died on the cross and took the unimaginable pain, thinking about US & he Rose again to show that Death can’t defeat him. Think on the second part, “He Rose Again”; to show us that He lives & He wants us to know that no Man on Earth or the Enemy can defeat his children nor can take them away from him. When he has chosen & promised you, think that he is not going to sleep until the promises come true in your life.

His love is so much, that he can’t stay away from you. It’s just that we need to know that he is always with us and within us. How far or how bad you may be now, just know that he wants you as you are and he is not kept count of your wrong doings rather he has keeps thinking of you and wants to see you walk into a prosperous life.  When you fail trying to live in God’s way, don’t give up rather look unto his love as he never gave up on you.

He was Fighter, so are you!!!!

“Your Father in heaven is not willing that any one of these little ones should be lost.”  (Matthew 18:14)

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him… But the father said to his servants, `Quick!  Bring the best robe and put it on him.  Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.  Bring the fattened calf and kill it.  Let’s have a feast and celebrate.  For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” (Luke 15:20b, 22-24)

U-Turn

This is the First thing that stuck me when I wanted to start writing a blog, where I would like to share the Good news and my walk with the Lord.

Have you made the Biggest U-Turn of your life? Or do you think you need time to do that? I am referring to the important decision, where we decide to follow Christ, follow his ways and leave the sinful ways that hinders our Faith & Walk with Christ. This is the First step of our walk with Christ, where we redeem our vows with God & surrender our lives to his purpose. I have come across people who wait to make their decision for the right Sunday Service, need time to get over themselves from the Guilty conscience or what would people think etc.

You don’t need a sign, a self-cleaning process or any other superstitious things, it doesn’t work that way. It all stars with you, within you knowing that God is ready to hold you and take you to the road that he has prepared you. Don’t think that you would hurt him by turning to your old ways or you won’t be able to live up to his expectations. When you start the U-turn, just take one day at a time, focus on the things that you need to do as his Son/Daughter, fill yourselves with his word and surround yourself in fellow Christians and ask God to give you the ways to counter attack evil. When I made the biggest U-turn, I focused on doing things which was right in the eyes of God, I noticed the ways on how I make mistakes & ways that devil starts to lure me into his ways.  And, made myself aware of my situations and avoided them by surrounding in Godly presence. Knowing that God is in control of my life made me stop worrying and focus on things that God wants me to do.

Maybe you have made the U-turn, but you are having hiccups on the ways or seemed to be lost on the Goal that He set you in. Don’t give up on the hiccups as well as when you have turned for a little moment on your old ways, recall the promises that he made with you & shake your dust off and start the next moment knowing that he is always with you.

In life, we come across failure, like exams in high school or college, we don’t give up on that; rather we re-attempt to make it successful. Re-attempts doesn’t make you bad but rather makes us aware of ourselves & another chance to make it right.  we are in process of re-tuning ourselves to live as God wants which is our goal. I know it’s not an easy task, but when you take life one day at a time and make every walk pleasing to God, life with God becomes the most wonderful thing to do.

Walking with God becomes Easy when you make your Bible as the first person to ask for Advice!!!
